We collect the information needed to connect students and parents with coaches, and to keep the platform safe.

1. What we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, phone number), the profile information coaches submit (including certification documents), booking and payment details, and basic usage data to help us improve the site. When a parent books lessons for a child, we collect only what's needed to arrange and run the lesson — such as the child's first name, age or grade level, and the activity they're learning.

2. How we use it

To create and manage accounts, process bookings and payments, verify coach certifications, communicate with you about your bookings, and improve HandpickCoach. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

We share information with the service providers that make the platform work — including our hosting provider, our payment processor, and our email provider. We share only what each provider needs to do its job.

4. Data retention

We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements.

5. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@handpickcoach.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

6. Children's data

HandpickCoach is used by parents and guardians to book lessons for children. Accounts are created and managed by the parent/guardian, not the child, and we only collect the minimum information needed to arrange lessons safely.
